How to Cope with Extreme Heatwaves Across the Mediterranean?
Wednesday 30 September 2026 · 17:30–18:45 (Tunis time) · online
Hosted by NAPI — North African Policy Initiative, with Resilient Futures · Contribution by Nidhal Attia

Summer 2026 put both shores of the Mediterranean to a hard test: extreme heat hit the region with rare severity and cascading impacts — even though it was a foreseeable risk. At NAPI's invitation, Nidhal Attia took stock of this climate risk, drawing on Resilient Futures' work on adapting to extreme heat.
